New Fragments Collection

My recent experiments with ways to reduce and reuse waste, which is a by-product of the making process, have involved embedding small scraps of waste materials in Jesmonite, a nontoxic binding material. I’m calling these new experimental pieces my ‘Fragments Collection’. I’m really enjoying playing with colour, making moulds to create different shapes and incorporating these elements into new pieces of jewellery.

The first piece from this collection, Fragments: Orbit Brooch is now in my online shop. This piece combines found and reclaimed plastics and recycled silver with a deep blue and multicoloured Jesmonite oval. Check out more from the Fragments Collection on my website over October!
